10&11: Building an organization capable of good strategy execution & managing internal operation.

I think very guilty on my own self and also lecturers because of not attend to lecture to this week. In fact, I was not present because it is quite important task to be completed as at the end of the week I have to attend a kem bestari solat. I'm really sorry Miss.L

However, I need to learn this topic back. What I understand about the title 10 are for the good implementation of the strategy requires teamwork. And every employee should be aware of their responsibilities. For topics 11, an organization of good implementation is faster to achieve the effect of such strategies. And the last but not least, i admit that i need to prepare early for this subject. Wish me luck k? huhuhu... Go go go..!!

CORPORATE STRATEGY.

This week I have learnt about corporate strategy. Based on what I understand about this topic is to company that want to success, they need to build strategy whereas can enhance shareholder value.
However, I would like to share with you all approaches to diversifying the business lineup. There are 3 which are diversification by acquisition of an Existing Business, Entering a new line of business through internal development and join venture.
Besides that, there are 2 parts of diversification which are related and unrelated business. A part of that, there are also 6 steps of how good a company’s diversification strategy. Firstly, evaluate industry attractiveness. Secondly, evaluate  business unit competitive strength, thirdly, determine the competitive value of strategic Fit in diversified companies, forth, checking resource fit , next, rank business units and assigning a priority for resources allocation and lastly, crafting new strategic moves to improve overall corporate performance.
In addition, during tutorial class we discussed about piping case which focus on franchising and doing business international or abroad.
And for this week, Madam Huda has given us remark for attended and active in class as participation marks. Hehehe .that’s all. TQVM J

Discuss how a corporate culture can assist in executing strategies in an organization. if you are one of the top managers, what kind od values that you would like to inculcate in your organization?

My answer: J
Bismillahirahmanirahim.. =) In my opinion, a corporate culture that been implemented in an organization could affect the behavior of the employees. The corporate culture could shape the way the organization organize their strategy as it is the main part of the organization If the organization are concerning to the idea from the employees, one big discussion should be held. The strategy could be structured by having an open discussion with all employees. From the discussion, the strategy gain would just suit with all of the employee’s preferences. Then, the strategy could be well executed. If I am destined to be a manager, I will implement the Islamic value into my organization because Islam is the perfect religion. Besides, the value exist in an employees could motivated themselves to be more productive towards their job. They would also be more committed to their job and performs well. Then, I will nurture the value of teamwork within the employees as that will make the work environment better. Other than that, the most important thing is the value of honest regarding the job that should be practice by all of the employees. By practicing the honest to their job, all of the work will be easier to the whole organization. that's all from me, thank you..

Today, I will continue my entry 4. It is about SWOT..
 Herm,.. so, today I wanna share with you what I have learn in tutorial n lecture about this. Related with our topic this week is strategy for competing in international market. So, in tutorial class madam Huda have teach us how to generate SWOT to TOWS.. (beranak pinak) haha..

SWOT to TOWS meaning: S+O, S+T, W+O AND W+T.

Strength plus opportunity will generate company to better position. Next, strength plus threat use to meet the company's challenges. Then, weakness plus opportunities available to cover or covering company's weaknesses and the last once is weakness plus threat should make it strength to face the challenges.

Sharing Moment….. O-shima Restaurant….. 

Hi! Assalamualaikum .. This week is no lecture, because it replace with sharing moment of O-shima Restaurant by the owner of o-shima Mrs.Asnidar Hanim Yusuf. 




 O-shima cafe are built for over 10 years. O-shima Cafe is located in Shah Alam and oshima is a Japanese cafe that offers halal food and is definitely the use no non-gradient in their dish. and its price is cheapest.... i like that part hehe :D lets taste!

Background about Mrs. Asnidar : She had graduate engineering in japan and also had master in the same field. However she not interest to work in engineering but she like in business . :)  i think, she is very brave woman because she started her business in different the other business and she started from BIG business  whereas she had background of engineering. willing to face the failure to grow up and develop her self..but, because of her passion and spirit. SALUTE !!
